My philosophy is simple: love is all you need. I never bought in to the ideas being put forward by my schoolteachers, and the politicians running this world. The notion that hard work, good qualifications, and a 'good' job is the key to happiness is patently wrong - the evidence is there for all to see.
The 1960s happened at the right time for me - I completely bought in to the hippy philosophy. A life doing some meaningless job or a life working for 'love and peace.' It was an easy decision for me to make..
All life naturally moves towards feeling comfortable. But human beings often get confused about what will make them feel comfortable, and they often end up doing some ghastly things in attempting to find that comfort.
So where is the true source of that comfort. My experience has shown me that it is within me. If I feel content within myself then I don't spend time chasing around this world looking for fulfillment in all the wrong places.
