Stanley Plane No.8, Made in the USA. This model has the war economy plastic adjuster, so quite likely a wartime model. It has the original USA blade.
This is a lovely example of the No.8 plane. One very tiny dink on the back corner - see pics. Lovely handles, in fact it's just a really nice plane. No rust, no pitting - all good.
