A very sweet brass chariot plane. Not branded, but the blade is marked Daniel Worsley &co, Sheffield, and the plane is stamped, G Derrick - cleaarly a previous owner.
The bed of the plane does let it down a bit - it looks as if someone has been banging it at the back end - what on earth they were doing I can't imagine. It's not terrible, it's just a bit of a shame.
The plane itself feels absolutely lovely to hold. It definitely was a classy little tool - it still is actually.
The bed is 3.25" x 1.5".
